Types of Therapies Available

Relaxation Massage:  also know as Swedish Massage, this is done with oil or lotion, and involves smooth gliding strokes, as well as invigorating and warming strokes. Pressure is adjustable for the client’s comfort.

Bowenwork® Therapy:  different from massage, and not like chiropractic. Bowenwork uses relatively few gentle moves on muscles to help the body go into relaxation mode. Also used to address symptoms of various conditions. For the small movements that are done on the body, it has surprisingly profound and long-lasting effects.

Acupuncture:   based on thousands of years of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practice, acupuncture uses relatively pain-free needles to affect and tonify energy points in various locations on the body. Energy, illness, and body organs can all be addressed.

Reiki:  is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reflexology:  the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hand with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. it is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands with a premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.
